Looks like I will probably only make the last two games, working the other days, might not even make the last one as I might have to work then as well. Saw a couple of minutes of the Orillia game against the Buccaneers on Saturday at Sunnybrook after reffing my game on the next field with only one set of posts but couldn't stick around to watch the whole thing as I had a boat to captain in Toronto harbour.

Good times, mate. First term is almost over, two more to go, and I'll be spending the last two weeks cheering on the hometown lads in their quest to win another division title.

I should look up that schedule and check out a game or two. Will definitely intro myself.

Bandito how are the studies going at Western. I hope to make it out to some of the games at Appleby, depending on work committments. If you see me come up and introduce yourself and let me buy you a beer.

Let's pick the finishers in order.

I'll go with 1. England
2. Canada
3. France
4. South Africa
5. USA

Matches vs. France and England should really let us see where we are. I'm thinking we might finally pip the French this time, but England are very strong.

On the other side of the world, the Aussies have just picked a very strong side to compete against Samoa in a qualifier. Among their players is Matt Giteau's sister Kristy (who's moved back to my old club, Vikings, after spending some time in Alberta - I think; everyone joked that they lost their best player last year in an 'exchange' for me, the coach, and reckoned they got the raw deal :( ).

Even better if you are in the area at all show up and support Canada when they are playing. I went to Appleby last year when the U20 Nations Cup was on and it was great. A nice field overlooking Lake Ontario and good rurgby on that field. I think it was five bucks for two games, you won't get a better deal than that. I will go to as many games as I can if I don't have to work. It would be great if we could get at least a thousand people out. Hope to see you there.
