Let's get a big crowd out to support both the BC Bears and of course the Ontario Blues in their respective games next Saturday at Fletcher's Fields. Let all your friends and club mates know about the games at 1:00 pm for Ontario vs a USA select team and then 3:30 pm for BC vs Argentina Jaguars. We need to get at least 1,000 out but let's do better than that and show that Toronto and Ontario support rugby. Anybody who is not busy mid week should try to get down to Chatham to see Canada A vs Argentia Jaguars at 4:30 pm on Wednesday, October 21.

Sounds like a close game if not a good one on Saturday in Victoria. I think this tournament wil get better and better if it is supported by the public and with the continuing support of the IRB for the next three years at least. It will raise the level of rugby available domestically for Canadian players but we have to support it with bums in seats to make it viable long term.

I'll be there Saturday and am travelling down to Chatham for the mid week game as well. Ihope I see a lot of good rugby over those five days and I'm sure I'll drink a few pints as well.
