It was an excellent event. Great crowd, great atmosphere and a perfect day. Although the score line was not what we wanted I thought several Canadians aquited themselves quite well. Pritchard was excelent. Van der merwe showed hes got real class. I doubt we will see him in the CDI next year. Kleeberger did quite well in spite of his yellow card (which I thought was harsh). Kudos to the tight five. After the debacle the scrum experienced last november it was great to see a marked improvement. Definately not where it needs to be but surely heading in the right direction. Fairhurst also deserves mention, he was very active and his work rate was excellent. Dealing with a scrum that was often going the wrong direction is a tough job. Unfortunately the backline just didnt seem to really get itself moving. There were a couple of flashes but just not enough to develop any real pressure.

Wish I could be in TO next week for wales.
