I had two posts deleted, because I lightly criticized some RC members. I know that the previous forum that some members were flinging poo at RC like monkeys at the zoo, but it seems that we are becoming like the ill fated Rugby Canada forum that we are not allowed to criticism the Rugby Canada board and that we need to take our happy pill and enjoy the ride.

Being politically incorrect on such matters should not be cause to censor. Stating the facts should not be cause to be censored. Mistreating a reputation of a significant member of any member of any Board is not acceptable and should be censored. It is a no! no! to go after a member of the staff of any level of governance as that is unfair because cannot respond and should be censored.
Somehow I do not get the feeling that from the tone of Faust's previous posting would fall into the inflammatory category that would be subject to censorship.
If those who stand for positions on our governing boards and are either duly acclaimed or elected must accept, volunteers as they all are, that criticism comes with the territory.
So, unless it is liable in a court of law then the practise of roasting them in the name of Free Speech must continue.
This site should not have privildged members who are protected from their detractors.

Nothing should be censored short of hate speech.
Anyone has the ability to respond to comments, attacks, or name calling. What happened to free speech? If Stephen Harper and the Conservatives can get away with TV ads that call into question someone's loyalty, intentions, or choice of beverage .. and we all agree these are negative attack ads, what's wrong with a little bashing on a web-site forum?
I could call Harry a big wanker and a horrible referee. What is wrong with that? Most might agree.
But if anyone dare suggests or questions certain denizens of the Castle on Vogell Road - (shouldn't they be referred to as Vogons (tm)?) are miserable so-and-so's for putting Rugby Canada into a million dollars of debt, why is that a bad thing or liable for censorship?
If someone were to question why the so-called Vogons (tm) are leaving the Castle and heading to the left coast for the better part of the week, at major expense, for the Ireland game, is that a bad thing?
Perhaps we need a forum where free speech, the Charter of Rights and Freedoms are paramount ... and to h e double hockey sticks with hurt feelings.

You can call me a big wanker or a horrible referee, but please not both. Not that the descriptions may not be accurate but you have to remember that big wankers and horrible referees have feelings too.

Feelings ... who cares about your feelings? I cannot make you or anyone else feel bad, blue, indifferent, or even joyous if you do not want to. All of us are responsible for our own feelings and how we react to external influences on them.
But besides that, hurt feelings or bruised egos are hardly enough reason for censorship.

I care about my feelings, even if no one else does. I agree on the censorship issue, although I do believe if you want to slag someone you should at least let us know who you are. My name is there for all to see, unlike most on this site.

Great day, great crowd, good game. But for a questionable yellow card mightve been a different result.
