Forum Dead?

    This Forum is very quiet lately. Is it the style of the Forum. I think the other style was more addictive to the user.

    I wonder if the problems after the changeover frustrated a lot of the regulars. I haven't visited in about a month, as I was forever getting errors and even deleted it from my list of rugby bookmarks.

    Seems to be doing okay now, though.

    ... however, as I posted a url earlier with html tags and got no hyperlink, I liked how the old forum would let you do that sort of stuff, as well with photos, etc.

    Can't see how to do that now.

    Hi Bandito, that seems to be the case. Hopefully, they will come back. It probably was a mistake changing over to this Forum. I will look into the html tag issue and your other issues you mention.

    I think all the hick ups we were having haven't helped. Hopefully it will pick up. The BC season will be starting up soon. That's always good for a few comments.

    Ive been an avid reader of the forum for a couple of years but don't post to much. I enjoy listening to all the different points of view. Hopefully things will pick up soon.

    Cheers, moosehead. I see admin added a hyperlink to my 'jerseys' post ... how does one do that?

    I do like the look of the new posts, though. Simple, without any clutter.

    I also hope others come back ... where else where I get all my RC goss while trying to suss out who's behind each pseudonym (still trying to work out who Clive and Harry are, though).

    Yes, you just type in the link why not experiment a bit with it. No need for tags around it. Also should be able to display images with a markup.

    The Board has really gone down in interest. Down to a very few regular posters. Are many people using http://www.BCrugbynews.com?

    I'm on there as well. I think people go there to get the "local" news, but that's it. Mark's output (while valuable and welcome) is always slanted to the island and at best restricted to a pro-BC point of view. It is after all BC Rugby News.
