It all comes down to the final weekend in the Marshall Premier with all to play for. Not sure of the permutations but at least three teams still in the running for first, maybe four. Tonight I went along and watched Brantford Harlequins lose a heartbreaker at Gage Field, 16-14 Beach on a last play of the game penalty kick by Simon Rodgers who was 1 for 5 or 6 up to then. He nailed it to beat Brantford who had looked like sneaking a win from the Beach. It was the first Marshall Premier match I had a chance to watch this year as I usually ref and noon and head of to work. I was very impressed with the level of play by both teams and anyone in Ontario who wants to watch good rugby should head out this weekend to catch one of the matches. Well done both teams.
