    Why is Canada playing in Toronto on a Friday? Jays play the Phillies that night at the Rogers Center. If Halliday is pitching there will be a huge walk up crowd which will hurt the Rugby!

    People who would rather watch baseball aren't the kind we want anyways. Friday night dos seem a little unusual though. Maybe they didn't want to keep all the local players from playing on the Saturday, or maybe TFC have a home game on Saturday. Maybe Halliday will pitch Saturday and it will be a good thing that the game was on Friday evening. I'm sure I will be there, whenever it is played.

    Toronto FC are playing on Saturday and you need BMO Field to fit in the 15,000 Italian fans.

    How does two games in Southern Ontario and one in Vancouver equal "across the country"?

    A game in Edmonton in June seems reasonable.

    Toronto is known by most Canadians to be the centre of the universe, why not just have all three here.

    I'm pretty sure TFC is playing in Kansas City on the Saturday after the Canada vs Italy game.

    Toronto FC are playing Kansas City on June 16th, in Kansas City.

    You couldn't play the two sports on the same field within 24 hours. The field needs to be re-lined, posts taken down etc.

    Why is it a problem? Do people in Ontario care so little about the National team that nobody will come because it's on a slighty different time than normal?

    Maybe the Leafs will still be playing

    LOL

    or not

    I just hope we get National TV Coverage from TSN so I can see the two games in Ont.

    Friday night game would be awesome but please RC not Friday afternoon! Contrary to popular belief folks in Ontario do work and kids actually attend school! In fact most Ontario high school rugby players would likely be in the middle of exams!
